Republican scientific schoolchildren?s competition held in Almaty

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimenov/ ?80% of the research works, presented in the republican scientific schoolchildren?s competition, were in the Kazakh language. Five years ago the figure was only 20%?, Director of ?Daryn? Republican Scientific Practical Center under the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science Tildash Bituova said.
?This statistics is very good. I believe that the Kazakh science has great future. The percentage witnesses that children read the works of Kazakh scientists in the national language?, T.Bituova noted.
The republican scientific schoolchildren?s competitions were held on February 23-27 in Almaty. Over 400 children with 354 projects took part in the competition. The main theme of the researches was oriented at models of economic and socio-cultural development of the country within ?Kazakhstan 2030? strategy.
