Republican command-staff exercise Winter-2009 finished

PAVLODAR REGION. November 6. KAZINFORM. /Vera Livintsova/ Republican command-staff exercise "Winter-2009" headed by Kazakh Minister of Emergencies finished yesterday in Pavlodar region; Emergencies Department of Pavlodar region told Kazinform.
Its main objective was to improve coordination of actions of the central and local executive bodies in emergency situations. The quantity and preparedness of emergency rescue services created for liquidation of consequences of extreme situations in winter period were checked. Chiefs of the regional services and chairmen of the municipal emergencies committees presented their reports.
