Reps of trade unions of cultural workers of CIS member states met in Astana

The main purpose of the event is promotion of the Kazakh model of interethnic accord and informing foreign delegates on the main direction of the work of the People?s Assembly of Kazakhstan. The participants of the meeting will discuss the issues of cultural exchange between the people of the CIS member states and consider the prospects of extension of the net of cultural institutions in the cooperating countries. At the end of the meeting the participants will visit the depository of the Assembly, opened in March, 2009 on the bases of signed agreement on cooperation between the People?s Assembly of Kazakhstan and the National Academic Library.
