Reps of Thai Board of Investments arrived in East-Kazakhstan Oblast

UST-KAMENOGORSK. September 9. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ Deputy Mayor of East-Kazakhstan region Grigory Pinchuk has met with the representatives of the Thai Board of Investments today in the regional akimat.

The guests arrived in East Kazakhstan to study investment needs of Kazakhstan and closer cooperation between Kazakhstan and Thailand.

Yesterday they visited Semey. Today the Thai delegation continues to familiarize with the region, investment potential in construction, IT-technology, restaurant industry, agriculture and etc.

Grigory Pinchuk and Vice Secretary General of the Thai Board of Investments Azharin Pananapanchai agreed both countries were interested in closer cooperation.

Three regional projects as fiberglass production, household waste processing and 'sun' energy were presented to the delegation by the local entrepreneurs.

Tomorrow the Thai delegation intends to visit a number of enterprises of the region including the Ust-Kamenogorsk poultry farm and Irtyshtransoil Company.
