Reps of secret services of SCO states discuss fight against 'three evils' - Tashkent

The conference is attended by delegations of relevant intelligence and law enforcement agencies responsible for combating terrorism from the SCO member states - China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and from observer states like Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, and of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO and the SCO Secretariat.
Kazakhstan's delegation at the conference is headed by the Chief of Staff Anti-Terrorism Center of the National Security Committee Kendebay Adambekov.
Conference participants intend to exchange views on the levels of terrorist, extremist and other threats to the security of its member states and observer states of the SCO in the context of growth of activity of international terrorist organizations in various regions of the world, including the Middle East and North Africa, and the approximation of conflict zones to their borders. In addition, it is planned to discuss the prospects of development of the situation in Afghanistan (IRA) in anticipation of the 2014 withdrawal of the International Security Assistance Force from the IRA.
