Removal of traumatic weapons from civil circulation be provided by new bill- Kazakh Attorney General

An increased incidence of crimes using firearms and weapons of traumatic necessitated the initiation of legal restrictions for gun owners, that has been told in his speech by the Attorney-General of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbaev. "This bill is aimed at improving public safety, prevention of uncontrolled use of traumatic weapons," said A.Daulbaev.

"The draft law developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan provides for removal of traumatic weapons from civil circulation and transfer it to the category of service", said the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by members of the Coordinating Council, Parliament deputies, heads of the Ministries of Interior, Defence, Emergency Situations, Industry and Trade, the National Security Committee, and the Customs Control Committee.
