Relatives of Kyrgyz uprising victims protest in Bishkek

MOSCOW. May 26. KAZINFORM Relatives of those killed in the bloody uprisings in Kyrgyzstan in April are protesting in the capital of the Central Asian state, Kyrgyz 24.kg news agency said on Wednesday, Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The protesters, who are gathered near the parliamentary building, are demanding that interim government leader Roza Otunbayeva come out and explain what progress the provisional government has made in capturing deposed president Kurmanbek Bakiyev, his relatives and close friends.
Bakiyev and his relatives are blamed for the deaths of more than 80 people shot by security forces in the April unrest. He was forced to flee the country after the uprising and has taken refuge in Belarus. The Kyrgyz interim government has demanded his extradition, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
