Spain suffered humiliating 2-0 defeat to powerful Chile at the Maracanã Stadium last night. The tiki-taka magic didn't work. With 20 minutes in the game, Eduardo Vargas of Chile scored the first goal of the match brining the sense of inevitability to the World Cup holders. Spanish goalie and captain Iker Casillas was unable to stop Alexis Sanchez's kick at the end of the first stanza sealing the fate of the match. The world and double European champions are going home.
