Regional Development Ministry works out comprehensive plan for suburban area of Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Ministry of Regional Development and the Akmola region Akimat have worked out the draft Comprehensive Plan of socio-economic development of settlements surrounding the city of Astana, the press service of the ministry informs.

Comprehensive Plan for socio-economic development of settlements surrounding the city of Astana, for 2011-2014, approved by the Government of Kazakhstan on November 30, 2010 № 1294, provides for the implementation of activities in 20 rural settlements (RS) such as Akmol, Kabanbai batyr, Razjez 96, Taytobe, Maksimovka, Malotimofeevka, Shubary, Kyzylsuat, Kosshy, Kazhymukan, Kyzylzhar, Karazhar, Karaotkel, Koyandy, Sofievka, Talapker, Zhaltyrkol, Kostomar, Zhibek Zholy, Arshaly area, Bozaygyr. 20 RS will include 14 more villages located within 30 kilometers from the city of Astana (Vozdvizhenka, Zhana Zhainak, Otemis, R. Koshkarbaev, Zhana Zhol, Razdolnoye, Tonkeris, Farforoviy, Volgodonovka, Koygeldy, Razjezd 42, Babatay of Arshaly district, Klyuchu, Tonkeris of Shortandy district). Comprehensive Plan for suburban area development is aimed on the enhancement of social and engineering infrastructure and lifelines of the residents of the areas.
