Reconstruction of Aktobe section of Western China-Western Europe corridor to be completed in 2011

AKTOBE. February 5. KAZINFORM /Samal Yendibayeva/ Reconstruction of a section of the Karabutak-Irgiz-border of Kyzylorda region road is planned to be completed in 2011.
The road is included in the project of the international transport corridor Western China-Western Europe. Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Dulat Kuterbekov has announced it at the sitting of a special group for examining and launching the projects implemented under the Program on forced industrial-innovative development, which is headed by First Vice Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev on Thursday, February 4.
According to him, the length of the international transport corridor through Aktobe oblast makes up 631 km, the reconstruction cost - KZT 62.6 bln.
"Launching of the whole sector of the road is planned in 2011", the Vice Minister said.
