Reception on 60th anniversary of PRC founding held in Beijing Palace Hotel

ASTANA. September 30. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A reception dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China has been held in the Beijing Palace Hotel.
China's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Cheng Guoping, Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nurtai Abykayev, representatives of the state bodies and diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan took part in the event.
"During 18 years after establishment of the diplomatic relations the sides consider each other as one of the most priority directions in their foreign policy. Close ties of the heads, strengthening political mutual confidence and business interaction in different spheres prove this", Cheng Guoping said.
According to him, China is the second largest trade partner of Kazakhstan, the volume of bilateral trade made up USD 17.55 mln last year.
