Reception on 22nd anniversary of Independence and Day of the First President of Kazakhstan held in Palestine
The reception was attended by members of the presidential administration, the National Legislative Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government bodies of Palestine, representatives of political, social and business circles and leading mass media, of diplomatic missions accredited in Ramallah as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan residing in Palestine.
Bulat Sarsenbayev, Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan with concurrent accreditation to Palestine noted in his welcoming speech that over a short historical period, Kazakhstan has achieved impressive results in socio-economic development, in preservation of political stability, tremendous foreign policy gains and received wide international recognition. The diplomat underscored that all the achievements of Kazakhstan were inextricably connected with the name of the First President, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Majdi Khaldi, Adviser to President Abbas, who attended the event on behalf of the head of the Palestinian state, conveyed most sincere and warmest congratulations to the brotherly Kazakh people and was highly appreciative of Kazakhstan's foreign policy pursued by President Nursultan Nazarbayev as well as of high level of social stability and exemplary effective model of development of our country's social and public sectors.
Other participants noted that Kazakhstan had a great future and wished it to further boost its international image. The Kazakh ambassador also gave an exclusive interview to Palestinian news agency WAFA and Palestine National Television.
