Realization of Road Map discussed in Kokshetau

Deputy akims of six oblasts and Astana city, heads of state bodies, joint-stock corporations and communal facilities participated in it. They focused on the situation in public utilities, implementation of the Road Map and main concepts directed on the sector's development. Chairman of the Agency for Housing Maintenance and Utilities Serik Nokin, Chairman of the Agency for Natural Monopolies Regulation Nurlan Aldabergenov, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection Birzhan Nurymbetov, Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Duisenbay Turganov, Chairman of Kazakhstan Centre of State-Private Partnership JSC Bolat Smagulov made reports on the departments' activity, urgent problems and voiced their propositions.

Akim of Stepnogorsk town Andrey Nikishov, Director of "Oskemen-Suarnasy" Adilbek Matkarimov, Director of Energocentre JSC Igor Kiselev, Director of Biset-Ekibastuz LLP Lyazzat Bekbergenova briefed about the situation in the regions and drew the Vice PM's attention to the necessity of introducing amendments to the legislation and providing financial support.

Summing up the sitting S. Akhmetov noted there was a big deal of problems requiring solution. According to him, the Road Map program provides for repair and laying of 450 km water supply lines, 200 km of heating pipelines, 250 km of electricity lines and 100 km of sewerage in Akmola oblast. 17 rural settlements will be provided with gas. "Legislative acts on housing maintenance and utilities are being developed now, huge and purposeful work done in this direction", the Vice PM highlighted. In this connection, main tasks for akimats and departments were defined.
