Realization of Economic Development Strategy of CIS countries to be discussed in S-Petersburg

The Executive Committee is going to present information on the process of realization of the first phase of the Economic Development Strategy of the CIS till 2020. The plan of the realization of the main activities is aimed at development and strengthening efficiency in cooperation between the CIS countries, the press-office of the Executive Committee reports.

Project on energy production and its use by the CIS countries are to be discussed at the meeting as well.
As long as 2010 is announced the Year of Science and Innovations in the CIS, the Action Plan on realization of the Concept of scientific information to ensure programs and projects of the CIS countries in the sphere of innovation is planned to be discussed.

On the proposal of the CIS Interstate Council on Exhibition Activities and the CIS Executive Committee the issues of holding of Interstate exhibition devoted to the 20 anniversary of the CIS and state of leasing activity of the Commonwealth will be discussed at the sitting as well.

Other issues of mutual interest for the CIS countries are to be discussed at the sitting of the Executive Committee as well.
