Rains and wind to persist in northern, eastern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - On Thursday, July 3, bad weather and occasional rains will persist on the territory of northern, eastern, south-eastern and central Kazakhstan.
Wind will strengthen up to 15-20 m/s in the Kostanay, South Kazakhstan, Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Akmola and Zhambyl oblasts.
Hail is expected in the Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda and East Kazakhstan regions.
Unlike other regions, the Atyrau and West Kazakhstan provinces will experience extreme heat today. According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, there will be torrential rains in northern Kazakhstan, however, later the "wet spell'' will move to the east of the country. Meteorologists also predict disturbed weather and occasional rains with rough wind in central and south-eastern Kazakhstan.
