Rains and extreme heat expected in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, there will be occasional rains in western, north-western, northern and eastern Kazakhstan today.
Wind will strengthen up to 15-20 m/s in the East Kazakhstan, Akmola, Kostanay, Zhambyl, Mangystau, and North Kazakhstan regions. Meteorologists also predict that temperatures will reach 40 degrees Celsius in the Akmola, Atyrau, Aktobe, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Almaty, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, West Kazakhstan, Mangystau and East Kazakhstan regions.
