Rain to douse Kazakhstan on Sunday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - It will be mostly rainy in Kazakhstan today, May 24. Meteorologists predict that thunderstorms, hail showers and stiff wind will torment Kazakhstanis as well.
Only western and southwestern Kazakhstan will enjoy weather without precipitation, according to Kazhydromet. Thunderstorm, hail and bleak wind with gusts up to 15-20 mps are expected in Almaty, Zhambyl and Kyzylorda regions. Thunderstorm is forecasted for Akmola and Aktobe regions. Fog will descend on Kostanay region. Wind gusting up to 15-20 mps will batter South Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions. Mercury will drop to 2°C in Pavlodar, Akmola and Karaganda regions at night.
