According to the head of the investigations department, Rashid Ankosi, several individuals, including several police officers, from the volatile North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia were enjoying themselves at a cafe, which included dancing on tables and firing their handguns into the air, which disturbed other guests who were dining at the time.

According to the preliminary investigation, shortly afterwards several of the Ingush vacationers began beating up a local resident because "he was looking at their car wrong." Several of his friends rushed out of the cafe to come to his aid, however the vacationers began firing their weapons at their feet as they came near. A fistfight ensued.

The boisterous vacationers settled down only after the local police arrived.

"No one was injured from the gunshots, but three people were injured during the fistfight," Ankosi said.

He said that no arrests had been made until the investigation clarifies how the incident unfolded. Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
