Quake recorded in Kyrgyzstan's Jalal Abad region

Magnitude 3 earthquake was registered in Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan on January 7 at 4:37 pm, Kabar reported.
The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences reported that the origin of this quake was located 12 kilometers to the N-E from Koso-Terek village, 20 kilometers to the South from Jetigen village, 25 kilometers to the South from Ketmen-Tobo village, and 45 kilometers to the South from Toktogul village.
In the settlements the intensity of the earthquake made 2 points in Koso-Terek village.
As reported, a total of 126 people have been confirmed dead and 188 others injured after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on January 7, 2025.
