Putin to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 4. KZINFORM Russia President Vladimir Putin will arrive for official visit in Astana at the invitation of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the official representative of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs A. Abibullayev informed at a briefing.
According to A. Abibullayev, the status and perspectives of Kazakhstan-Russia cooperation in economic, political, trade, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and a wide range of international issues as well as cooperation within the regional integration structures are on agenda.
In addition, the heads of the two states are planning to sign a protocol on amendments and additions to the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance between Kazakhstan and Russia as of 25 May 1992.
