According to the Russian Federal Space Agency, specialists of Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center and "Yuzhniy" Space Center's filial branch have completed the general assembly of the space rocket. During the coming week it is planned to check control systems of the spacecraft and booster rocket. After the checkups "Proton-M" will be transported to the service station for refueling low pressure tanks of the booster. "Proton-M" space rocket with "Breeze-M" booster and the Russian satellite-relay "Luch" will be launched from Baikonur cosmodrome on September 28, 2014. It bears to remind that Russia launched their Proton-M rockets in May 2014, with the mission tasked with lofting the Ekspress-AM4R telecommunications satellite into orbit. Launch of the Proton-M rocket took place from Launch Pad 39 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 21:42 GMT. However, an unspecified failure was noted during third stage flight. Proton- M crash is one of several similar incidents on record, including the July 2013 disaster, in which a rocket failed immediately after takeoff, rammed into the ground and erupted in an enormous ball of fire.
