Protesters demand resignation of Emilbek Kaptagaev in Kyrgyzstan

ASTANA. July 26. KAZINFORM A group of people joined the protesters near the Zhogorku Kenesh in the Kyrgyz capital. The protesters speak out against bringing of the OSCE police into the country and demand resignation the Chief of Stuff of the Technical Government Emilbek Kaptagaev. Some of protesters have placards with the inscription "Emilbek Kaptagaev - corrupt official", Kazinform refers to Trend News.

According to Esenbek Abdrasulov, a member of political party of pensioners, at the moment Mr. Kaptagaev allows usurpation of power. "He appoints his close friends without taking into account regional quotas. For example, many posts have been provided for representatives of the Issyk-Kul region, where he was born. We can not speak about honest government! We demand his immediate resignation", says Esenbek Abdrasulov, news agency "24.kg" reported.

As noted by the protesters, many of them have not been able to meet Mr. Kaptagaev in order to cast a dissenting vote. In addition, according to a member of the SDPK political party Sulayman Asylbekov, many people are dissatisfied that Emilbek Kaptagaev as the head of Technical Government of Kyrgyzstan and allowed bringing the OSCE police into Kyrgyzstan, Kazinform cites Trend News.
