"Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the USA Kairat Umarov delivered a speech about the present opportunities of Kazakhstan that can be interesting for American business. In particular, he told about created favorable investment climate in the country, political stability and long-term vision on ensuring sustainable development of the country," the press release of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the USA reads.

According to K. Umarov, the results of the recently held presidential elections demonstrate the all-round support of the course of N. Nazarbayev aimed at continuation of implementation of such strategies and programs as "Kazakhstan-2050" and "Nurly Zhol".

The participants of the forum discussed the prospects of participation of American investors in implementation of economic projects of Kazakhstan. Speaking of horizons of investment cooperation, member of the board of directors of the Kazakhstan Development bank Marcia Favale-Tarter noted that the People's IPO Program allowed active participation of the people of Kazakhstan in privatization of national companies and helped to activate entrepreneurship activity in Kazakhstan.

The participants of Kazakhstan were also informed about the liberal visa regime of Kazakhstan. General Consul in New York R. Yesbulatova told about the procedure for receiving a five-year Kazakhstan visa. As of today, the citizens of the USA can visit Kazakhstan and stay in the country for 15 days without visa.
