Projects implemented in Mangystau region presented to President

AKTAU. June 9. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbay/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the presentation of investment projects in the region within his working trip to Mangystau Oblast.

Several projects were presented to the President by means of live conference. In particular these are the major projects of 'Zher-Teniz-Aspan'. Special economic zone of Aktau Seaport, 'Caspian Energy Hub'. 'Aktau city', 'Kindirli', Caspian Technology University and some more projects on the development of energy and transport infrastructure in the region are included into the group of major projects.

Besides, the construction of the railway 'Uzen-state border with Turkmenistan' and the grain terminal in Beuneu village was demonstarted to the President. During the live conference it was started the construction of a plant for production of bitumen in the city of Aktau.

Referring to the press service of the akimat of the region, 12 projects are registered on the list of the state program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development and Industrialization Map of Mangystau region. 7 out of them are under regional Industrialization Map and 5 under Republican Map.

Presently the region implements 12 projects. 8 out of them will be finished by the end of the year, 4 - projects in the first half of the year. Total budget of the projects is KZT 22.7 bln.
