Project to supply oil from Kazakhstan to Belarus under development

GOMEL. October 6. KAZINFORM Belarus is interested in importing oil and oil products from Kazakhstan, Belarus Vice Premier Valery Ivanov told BelTA. He is attending the 8th session of the intergovernmental Belarus-Kazakhstan commission for trade and economic cooperation in Gomel.
According to Valery Ivanov, the forum highlighted the issue of Kazakhstan oil supplies to Belarus. Specific instructions have been given at the meeting within the agreements reached earlier by the two heads of state to mainstream conditions for oil supplies and sign the relevant intergovernmental agreement.
According to BelTA, Valery Ivanov added that the issue of importing electricity from Kazakhstan was also high on the agenda of the meeting.
