Project on development of tourism in Atyrau and Kyzylorda regions presented in Astana

ASTANA. February 4. KAIZNFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Workshop on ?Directions of tourist policy in Kazakhstan and Concept for tourism development on the Silk Road? has been held today in the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sport, Kazinform reports.
Within the workshop Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Korea Culture and Tourism Institute presented report on researches, aimed at realization of the project ?Establishment of master plan on promotion and development of tourism industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan?.
As Chairman of the Committee of Tourism Industry of the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sport Yevgeny Nikitinsky noted, the tourism is a global phenomenon that influences on the development of transport, construction, communication, trade, agriculture and others.
As Y. Nikitinsky noted, considering modern regional and country peculiarities of the tourism, the Ministry initiated a project on investigation of tourist potential of two important regions - Atyrau and Kyzylorda.
?Further development of the project will allow to promote the regions as centers of sustainable development of tourism?, the Chairman noted.
