ALMATY. May 13. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ An "Innovative Kazakhstan-2020" Forum starts its work in the Alatau Information Technologies Park in Almaty. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has opened it.
"The progress is impossible without innovations. The regulatory and legal framework was formed, new laws on science and entrepreneurship were adopted, the innovative infrastructure was created. Nine technologies parks, five national and fifteen regional laboratories are functioning in the country so far. Nine venture capital funds and three design bureaus were opened. We created the basis and now it is necessary to move forward. But the system of support of innovations is not developed in the country. We should establish our own background for innovative development. Today the most priority task is to search people with creative thinking, the most major issue - specialists' training," the Head of State resumed.
