Prime Minister of the United Kingdom to make first official visit to Kazakhstan
The visit starts June 30 and will be held at the invitation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"This is a very important event for our bilateral relations. It is to open a new page in our relations ", said Altai Abibullayev.
As stated by him, in the first place, it is expected that in Atyrau, Nursultan Nazarbayev and David Cameron will have a session with representatives of the British oil and gas companies operating in the Caspian shelf. Then, July 1, on Monday, will begin the official part of the visit of the British government. In the narrow and expanded formats in Astana there will be discussion of a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
"Between Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom there is active development of trade and economic, investment, industrial and innovation cooperation. It is obvious that the focus will be on security issues in Central Asia, oil and gas industry and others ", concluded the spokesman.
