Prime Minister of Spain will pay official visit to Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM - Mariano Rajoy, the Spanish Prime Minister, will have an official visit to Kazakhstan this year. This has been announced after a meeting of Erlan Idrissov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with Pedro Morenesom, the Minister of Defence of Spain.

As the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports, Pedro Morenes is having his first official visit to Astana.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral strategic partnership including military-technical cooperation, regional security and cooperation in the framework of international organizations.

"The two sides noted the high level of bilateral cooperation and rich bilateral agenda which will start with the official visit of Mariano Rajoy, the Prime Minister of Spain, to Astana current year", said the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

Erlan Idrissov stressed that the summit in the framework of the working visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev to Madrid in February 2013 showed "mutual understanding across the spectrum of bilateral relations and international politics" between Kazakhstan and Spain.
