Prime Minister instructed to finalize transfer of border veterinary control functions to customs

ASTANA. February 8. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov instructed the Ministry of Finance to finalize the transfer of functions of veterinary and phytosanitary control on the border to customs bodies.
"It's time to set the matter at rest. Only two bodies, the border guards and customs, and nobody else should be on the border," Akhmetov stated at the Finance Ministry's board meeting on Friday.
He urged to submit a corresponding draft law for consideration of the Parliament by February 25.
