Prime Minister approves modernization program for waste management

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov has approved the state program of solid waste management system modernization.
The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources to provide the administrative office with the relevant act.
Nurlan Kapparov, the Minister of Environment and Water Resources, has presented the draft program. The program aimed at solving a number of problems including the increase of share of sanitary landfills and the production of "green" energy from waste etc.
