ASTANA. KAZINFORM - It is possible that air travelling will be cheaper in Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Serik Mukhtybayev has said at a press briefing on Dec 12.
"It is known that the cost of the ticket depends on fuel. The price of the tickets is expected to reduce due to the general trend of reducing of the cost of fuel," Mukhtybayev said.
He also said that "Air Astana", derived from the list of companies which are banned to fly to Europe, will fly for the first time on the route "Astana - Paris" in March 2015. At the moment, among 19 local companies only "Air Astana" has the appropriate permission to fly to European countries, according to the website of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
As noted Mukhtybayev, "Air Astana" company should be checked twice a year in compliance with the requirements of the International Air Transport Association - IATA.
