Presidents of pre-Caspian states discussed friendly ties and mutual coop development

ASTANA. September 11. KAZINFORM /Anargul Tolegenova/ Presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan - Ilham Aliyev, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Dmitry Medvedev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow - have arrived in Aktau for participation in an informal summit. They discussed the issues of strengthening friendly ties and mutual cooperation of the pre-Caspian countries.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed gratitude to Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkmenistan for their interest in further development of cooperation between the pre-Caspian states and for the invitation acceptance.
President N.Nazarbayev noted an opportunity of notable increase of the trade turnover between the pre-Caspian states by cooperation expansion.
"Today we hold bilateral negotiations at the Interregional Cooperation Forum in Orenburg. Such interregional ties will be useful for all Caspian states. Because of it, I think that our meeting will be fruitful", Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said.
