Presidents of Kazakhstan and France partake in business forum

"I welcome you here in Astana. France is one of our leading partners. Joint projects are implemented not only in industry but in the sphere of high technologies. We hope for a joint mutually beneficial cooperation, " said the President of Kazakhstan. Note that in the framework of the Kazakh-French business forum will be signed 15 commercial agreements totaling $530.3 million. The forum is being attended by over 250 delegates: businessmen, representatives of national companies, financial institutions, NGOs and educational institutions. French President Francois Hollande has arrived in Astana today with his first official visit to Kazakhstan. The parties will discuss the progress of realization of the agreements reached previously during the visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev to France in 2012 and bilateral cooperation issues. To date, the main directions of economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and France include oil and gas, mining, aerospace, nuclear industry, transportation equipment, banking and agriculture.
