Presidential elections to shape our future - Senator Mukashev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani senator and chairman of regional public organization "Association of maslikhat deputies of Kazakhstan" Tuleubek Mukashev has shared his thoughts about the initiative to hold early presidential elections with Kazinform correspondent.

"Initiative of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan to hold snap presidential elections has enlisted support of local authorities. Holding of presidential elections is the indicator of democratic society and participation of each citizen will determine and shape our future," the lawmaker said. In his words, local authorities realize the role Nursultan Nazarbayev has played in the development of Kazakhstan. "All state programs aimed at promoting prosperity of the people are implemented in the regions of Kazakhstan. The ideas outlined in the Mangilik Yel (Eternal Nation) concept, the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy and the ‘Nurly zhol - Path to the Future' economic policy are truly inspiring. The association urges all people of Kazakhstan to support the Leader of the Nation and, thus, contribute to the implementation of his policy," senator Mukashev added.
