President visited B.Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty

ALMATY. July 13. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev visited the Palace of Sport named after Baluan Sholak within his working trip to Almaty. The President was accompanied by city Mayor Akhmetzhan Yesimov.
The Kazakh national women's volleyball team met with the President in the Palace. The team has recently won the international volleyball tournament "The Cup of President N.Nazarbayev". The sportswomen congratulated the President on his birthday and wished many years of life and good health.
Director of the Palace of Sport Yuriy Zakharin informed the President that reconstruction of the Palace was started within the preparation to the Asian Winter Games 2011.
