President urges to raise domestic goods quality

ZHAMBYL REGION. September 22. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ "Kazakhstani enterprises must be strong enough to meet competition", Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev urged at the meeting devoted to the 70th anniversary of Zhambyl region.
"On January 1 we will open customs borders with Russia and Belarus, which means Russian and Belarusian goods will appear on our shelves", the President said. "Will the goods of Kazakhstan be able to compete with Russian and Belarusian imported products? Our products must be of high quality so they were in demand in the market", the President said.
Kazakhstan is steadily getting over the recession and is preparing for post-crisis activities, thus demanding the Government to be headed to industrialization of the economy and active development of social sphere, according to Nursultan Nazarbayev.
