President urged to return unsafe privately owned water reservoirs to state ownership

ASTANA. March 13. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has charged to check privately owned water reservoirs and in case their safety is not controlled, return them to the state ownership. He said it at the session with the members of the Governmental Commission on mitigation of flood consequences in Aksu municipality of Almaty region.
According to the President, it is a matter of public safety. "The reservoirs have not been annually checked for the timely holding of works on safety. In this part, the Ministry's work in unsatisfactory", N. Nazarbayev noted.
