President urged Government developing IPO program

ASTANA. February 11. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev charged the Government to work out a program of national companies' shares offering to the public. He made it public at the congress of "Nur Otan" Party.
"I charge the Government to work out the program of initial public offering for "Samruk Kazyna" Fund member companies. It is necessary to offer the shares of "Samruk-Energo" JSC, KEGOC and Kazpost companies by the end of the year", the President said.
The Head of the State urged to involve all foreign companies working in Kazakhstan to the program development.
"The IPO will provide our people with an opportunity to acquire shares of the biggest companies and new instrument of investments and multiplying their savings", N.Nazarbayev noted.
