President Tokayev expresses condolences over death of Kazakh author Dulat Issabekov
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter of condolences over the passing of the prominent writer and playwright, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, winner of the State Prize Dulat Issabekov, Akorda reports.
Dulat Issabekov, who devoted his whole life to the national literature, was a truly honorable person. Throughout his creative path, Issabekov worked tirelessly to enrich the spiritual world of the Kazakh people and broaden the horizons of national prose. His best dramatic works are the true treasure of the world stage, promoting globally the sacred art of words. Dulat Issabekov, who left behind a rich literary legacy, will always be remembered, reads the letter.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakh author, winner of the State Prize of Kazakhstan Dulat Issabekov had died at the age of 83.
