President tells Samruk-Kazyna Fund to map out anti-crisis programs

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Umirzak Shukeyev in the Akorda presidential residence today, Kazinform has learnt from the Akorda's press service.
Mr. Shukeyev reported on the day-to-day functioning of the fund, implementation of key programs and plans for the upcoming period. At the meeting, President Nazarbayev especially stressed the importance of effective and stable operation of the fund given the current economic situation. "Amid declining oil prices, our key goal is to keep jobs. In this context, it is of paramount important to continue qualitative implementation of all planned measures, including programs of privatization, restructuring of assets and so on," Nursultan Nazarbayev said. The Kazakh President also instructed to review the company's plans for 2015 and map out specific anti-crisis programs.
