President tasks to speed up construction of national university of sport
At the meeting with the prizewinners of the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou in China, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke on importance of raising the level of training the national teams as a priority task in the sphere of sport, Kazinform Agency reports via Akorda.
As the President pointed out, it is important to create a modern infrastructure of training the athletes from the viewpoint of sports medicine and pharmaceutical provision.
In this regard, the Head of State tasked to accelerate the construction of a national university of sport.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also emphasized the need to focus on training world-class referees, as well as to raise salaries and launch additional social support measures for coaches and other sports professionals.
