President tasks to reform National Statistics Bureau

Addressing the participants of the Digital Bridge 2023 Forum in Astana today, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced an upcoming reform of the National Statistics Bureau, Kazinform Agency reports via Akorda.
“We need to reform the National Statistics Bureau and turn it into a real digital agency. Comprehensive measures are needed to arrange statistical and other data, including the shaping the management policy and determining the target data architecture,” said the President.
This should become a basic condition for the adoption of effective decisions by the state.
