President sends telegram of condolences to family of Karzhaubay Sartkozhauly upon his death
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to the family of academician Karzhaubay Sartkozhauly on his death, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
The President noted in his telegram that Karzhaubay Sartkozhauly was an outstanding scholar who devoted his entire life to studying the history of the Turkic world and expanding the horizons of national spirituality.
The Head of State emphasized his true devotion to science.
"He was an outstanding expert in ancient texts. Karzhaubay Sartkozhauly authored many fundamental scientific works, and trained numerous talented scientists. He is also known as a wonderful writer who has created a number of meaningful works," the telegram reads.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that the name and bright image of Karzhaubai Sartkozhauly will forever remain in the memory of the people.
Karzhaubay Sartkozhauly was a prominent historian, ethnographer, orientalist and holder of Qurmet Order. He was an Academician of the International Genghis Khan Academy, member of the Ataturk International Turkic History Academy.
