President Sarkozy assigns high priority to oncoming visit to Kazakhstan
During the presentation of credentials the issues of the French President's oncoming visit to Kazakhstan were discussed. President Sarkozy noted that he assigns high priority to his forthcoming visit to Kazakhstan. The visit is aimed at summing up the results of the first stage of realization of the strategic partnership agreement signed on June 11, 2008 in Paris by the presidents of Kazakhstan and France as well as developing bilateral relations and interaction on the world arena.
According to Mr. Sarkozy, Kazakhstan has a big potential to become a strategic partner in Central Asia. He noted that Kazakhstan is a very significant state in ensuring stability in the region and global security.
The President of France expressed hope for early meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev and conveyed his good wishes to the Kazakh counterpart. He pointed out the Kazakh President's tireless work on provision of Kazakhstan development and increase of the national welfare.
