President Putin excludes Ukrainian scenario in Kazakhstan

"Kazakhstan is the closest strategic ally and partner of Russia. President Nursultan Nazarbayev, without doubt, as a shrewd and wise leader, always thinks of the future of his country. I am confident that the overwhelming majority of Kazakhstanis stand for further development of relations with Russia," Vladimir Putin said answering the questions at the Seliger youth forum. The Russian President characterized Nursultan Nazarbayev as the most competent leader in the former USSR.
