President proposes to establish OSCE Center on Tolerance and Non-discrimination

ASTANA. June 29. KAZINFORM Today delivering a speech at the opening of the OSCE High Conference on Tolerance and Non-discrimination President Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to establish an OSCE Center on Tolerance and Non-discrimination.
"Along with trust, tradition and transparency, ensuring tolerance is the major direction of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship", the Head of the State said.
In this context, N. Nazarbayev considers appropriate to establish an OSCE Center on Tolerance and Non-discrimination.
"Central Asia is the region with complicated ethnic picture of population. Various nations have been living here from time immemorial. The riots in Kyrgyzstan are a challenge to stability in the region which poses threat to all member countries of the OSCE", N. Nazarbayev said.
