President presented new cars to Almaty policemen

Chief of the municipal Internal Affairs Department Yerlan Turgumbayev demonstrated the President technical equipment of the local police - explosive-technical complex, mobile command and control centre, a mobile criminal investigation laboratory and other equipment.

At a meeting with the staff of the department the President emphasized Government's attention paid to the internal affairs bodies. "Almaty is the largest city of the country therefore ensuring law and order is a priority task for you. People should feel safety", N. Nazarbayev highlighted.

Yerlan Turgumbayev thanked the President for his confidence and assured that Almaty police would exert every effort for protection of public order and ensuring people's safety in order to make Almaty cultural, financial as well as secure city of the country.
