President of Mongolia to pay state visit to Turkmenistan
At the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa will pay a State Visit to Turkmenistan on October 10-13, 2024, MONTSAME reports.
This will be the first State Visit between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkmenistan in 1992. During the State Visit, President Khurelsukh will hold official talks with President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and meet Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow to discuss expanding and developing the relations and cooperation between the two countries and exchange views on a wide range of issues regarding cooperation in regional and international fora.
Also during the State Visit, President Khurelsukh will participate as an Honored Guest in the international forum commemorating the 300th Anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
Recall that President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Secretary-General of the ruling party To Lam held official talks at the State Palace of Mongolia on September 30.
