"It is important to take into account when working on the anti-crisis plan to overcome the lack of trust. I fully share the view that the global crisis has become above all a crisis of confidence. There is no trust between global financial institutions, nation states, between the subjects of the financial sector, the real economy, between countries and so on. I am convinced that without the public trust any anti-crisis plan will be reduced only to the practice of regular patching holes ", said the Head of State, speaking at the opening of the VI Astana Economic Forum and the World Anti-Crisis Conference.

Nursultan Nazarbayev believes that in the 21st century the world needs a new economic model. "It should be based primarily on a fair equitable global financial system, where there is no deception, irresponsibility and extravagance. Where the wealth produced by mankind will be directed to creation and progress of happiness and development of each society ", concluded the President.
